Card Swaps

Card Swaps:
What is a card swap?
Well to be honest with you I really had no idea on how to explain it myself  so I tried to look it up and here's the best I could come up with. For card- making enthusiasts to share their creativity with fellow crafter's. So each person would make a set of cards (most times it's 8 or 10 and their all the same) sometime's it's a specific theme such as fall cards and then the hostess of the card swap has everyone send her their cards. She distributes a specific number of cards to each person that submitted a set and sends them back. That way each person gets different ideas and handmade cards from different people showing other peoples ideas for using s specific stamp or usage of paper and embellishments.

New card swap happening now: Okay new Swap open to anyone into paper crafting and stamping: Easter and Spring cards: FULL CARDS 4.25 x 5.5 in size. Minimum 2 layers including the base. Minimum 1 embellishment.
We will be swapping in groups of 10 + 1. You will get 10 cards back (not your own). And 1 stays with the hostess. You may sign up for more than 1 group however each grouping must have a different design. Include a prepaid self addressed envelope that will comfortably fit all your returning swaps. I suggest you add extra stamps just in case (these will be returned if not used).
Include your NAME, and EMAIL address on a REMOVABLE piece of paper (do not stamp on the back of the card). Post it notes work best.

All swaps must be in my hands by March 15th in order for you to have your cards before Easter.
Please message me or email me at stacychrisclark@gmail.com if you would like to partake.

Nothing new to report for Card Swaps. I'm taking a break from organizing any. Maybe in the new year. However I am a part of a Birthday Card giving group. We each send Birthday cards to people in the Split coast stampers group. Each month I send out three or more cards to people so they have a nice surprise in the mail. It's always nice to receive a random Birthday card from someone you don't know.

So a signed up for another card swap, I truly enjoy doing these and getting to see other people's ideas on how to use specific themes or stamp sets. So this one is my most recent it was called the "Dude" card swap and this is the card I made. (2014)
What do you think? Each card has to have at least two paper layers, some type of ribbon and an emblishment. The mini bottle caps are the latest craze. My husband gave me the idea for the skull in the middle of the mini bottle cap.

I have four more cards swaps coming up. One on sale-a-bration items for Stampin Up, and also an Easter Cards swap and one for Mother's and father's day. Looking forward to creating and receiving new ideas for cards. I will post more when I get my cards done for these.

Cards created for a Stampin Up swap I did for July

This one with the flowers was made with scented embossing powder so the flowers smell like Vanilla.

Cards I've made for swaps: All for my retired Stampin Up swap.
